I about fell out of my chair this morning. They played The Cure (a very old video from them that I had never seen before) The Clash, The Jam and The Pixies all in a row. They just ruined their stint by playing New Order, figures. Thery do play some great stuff at times. Much better than MTV. Edit: It's not New Order, my mistake, it was Electronic, same difference. The Alternative kicks major ass. I swear, the main reason I got Direct TV was to get this channel. Was damn near having a withdraw when they played The Pixies(My Velouria), Jesus & the Mary Chain(Head On), and My Bloody Valintine(To Who Knows When, i think) - all in the first half hour. They play a lot great stuff most of the time. Styx Unplugged, Brian Setzer: Boogie Woogie Christmas, Dee Snider hosting ever damn event, etc. I love the tagline: [i][b]None[/b] of Today's Hottest Music[/i] |

Saturday was better, they played Eric Clapton (forgot which song it was) followed by Bohemian Rhapsody and then For Those About To Rock, now that was just great... |
