my favorite song ever... alec eiffel!
Cool. Did they sneak in any new material? If so, what were your impresssions? They're probably my fvorite american band of the last twenty years, so I'm really hoping to see them this summer. |
where is my mind, hey, here comes your man, in heaven, la la love you, monkey gone to heaven, wave of mutilation, debaser, subbacultcha, gigantic, crackity jones...
That sounds like a fucking awesome set, but no "no. 13 baby" or "Rock a my soul"? |

It seems the 'Pixies' did two seperate show, one of their hits, and the other of rare songs. I would expect songs like no. 13 baby, Rock a My soul, Down to The well...and so many others would be included in the rare show. Not because they are not good, but because they didnt reach the level of popularity like 'Where is my mind' or 'Debaser'. Please drop the 'the' from the title. |

Thanks for that. Actually they were not that great on Austin City Limits. They were alot better in Atlanta, but I guess for a TV appearence it was good. |

I actually enjoyed the Austin City Limits show a lot. I saw them do another show on On Demand, I don't remember where or when it was recorded but I do know it was older than the ACL one. The ACL one was a better show on my opinion. I am really hoping they make it back to my neck of the woods. Last time they were here was right after my aunt passed away and I totally spaced it. I realy would like to actually see them live one of these days. |

do you think the pixies have heard of the pillows at all? |

I don't know. Noodles opened for the Breeders in Japan, and they are under Sawao's label. I suppose it's not impossible, but I doubt Frank Black has a collection of pillows albums in his cd changer. |
