The Cover Art thread made me think about this band. This band mixes just about every kind of music you can imagine, they are un catagorizable. Hip-Hop, Punk, Ska, Regae, Rock , you name it. Really great stuff. Unfortunatly their lead singer died of a drug over dose several years ago but their music lives on. Great stuff I tell ya.

As a member of the white middle-class, growing up on the North Shore of Illinois, I was issued their albums when I turned twelve. I still like to listen to them sometimes. Jailhouse is probably my favorite.

i like them too. the last band i was in covered wrong way and i got to play that sweet-ass trombone solo. i remember a funny story about sublime, i went to borders to buy their greatest hits album and the woman at the counter would'nt let me buy it. this was the first in my life that the parental advisory rule was actually enforced.

Their verison of Summertime was also quite catchy.

Of course, Charlie Parker's is still my favorite.

One of my friends, who lives with his girlfriend, tokes marijuana all day, and doesn't work, considers them gods.

I think I've developed some kind of allergic reaction to their music because I associate it with his life, even though I do like 'em.

Silly moochers. Drugs are for responsible adults.
