http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hunha8UtqCk So.. what do you guys think? I mean.. it's not THAT bad. Not very good either, though. It's blatantly 2012 wannabe Top 40. A far cry from Tragic Kingdom. I just desperately wanna love it. There's a special place in my heart for No Doubt. Just A Girl is the first song I remember hearing. That opening guitar riff is hauntingly nostalgic for me. Gwen Stefani is hot a shit for a women in her 40s at any rate. |

What the fuck was that. I did not enjoy. I thought they were something of a rock band? Wat? Never really listened to them, so I guess I could be confusing them with somebody else. |

Reggae-fusion was definitely one of them, so I think this counts as a No Doubt track. Not for everybody. I didn't love all of Tragic Kingdom, but their biggest singles (Don't Speak, Just a Girl, Hella Good, It's My Life) are incredible. |

No Doubt's earlier stuff is fairly enjoyable. Tragic Kingdom and Return of Saturn are pretty solid albums. Don't have much interest in their new stuff, however. |

If we want to start talking about female fronted rock groups that were big in the '90s, I have one word for all of you. Garbage. |

I listen to L.A.M.B. on occasion, one of the younger assistant managers was counting money at the register and I started singing the chorus to Bubble Pop Electric and she literally did a foot spinning 180 and said I LOVE THAT YOU KNOW THAT SONG! We proceeded to yam about Gwenny Gwen-Gwen. She had music videos for practically half of that album, I'd imagine that was a very busy time for her. I never did get around to checking out her second solo album because I wasn't really feeling Wind It Up and Sweet Escape. I liked Settle Down quite a bit more than this one, but it's ok. |

I'm trying so hard to like this freaking album. I will love it. I'm going to eat, sleep, and breathe Push and Shove for the next year if I have to. I like the single Push and Shove so far. Ten more songs to go. |
