Just post any songs that you might have uploaded, and give some feedback to others. I have been working on a new song called "Chain". I was going to enter an instrumental rock contest with it, but I would like some feedback from all of you. I can't say this is the finished product, because I am always trying new things, but I am somewhat pleased with it's curret state. Just click the URL below. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/threedaysmusic.htm EDIT: The song is very different from my previous stuff. I have grown weary of all the shred, so I was hoping for a more atmospheric type sound. It's an experiment, but I hope you like it. |

The song ain't bad. And I went through the same thing.. real tired of mindless shredding... it's just not fun... sure it's impressive, but thats not what its about. |

I actually did a few recordings back in the day of that one thread we started sclone. I played the maine riff of trilogy. Kind of sloppy. It was the first attempt. I should re-record it with my new guitar and see how it sounds. I've also composed some stuff of my own that i should post. And my RP100 has a drum machine. It might get bland becuause i can't change drum patterns in the middle of a song. So yeah. Tomorrow maybe. I'll record some of my stuff. Then maybe some yngwie. And perhaps some pillows. |
I have had many sleepless nights with my guitar.
Word. I do this all the time. Not sleepless nights, but heavily delayed sleep. So i end up getting like an hour of sleep or something along those lines. |
Just spend two years locked up in your room, with only your guitar, and you too can be shredding, or whatever your heart desires.
It really works. |

I haven't had any practice singing in almost four years. That said, my low-quality recordings can be found here. Don't try and put me in the same league as some of you other folks; I'm not as skilled. |

I don't think anyone here is in Sclone's league, chops-wise anyway. |
I don't think anyone here is in Sclone's league, chops-wise anyway.
That's nice of you to say, but my new song 'CHAIN' ditches most of the guitar soloing. Did you like it? |

I loved it. It was good enough for me to hear it in hi-fi. It reminded me of Brian Eno's early/velvet inspired songs that created a cosmos atmosphere. It'd sound like good driving music, too. Driving in cubes. *two tentacles up* |

You really figured my song out, I was going for a very Velvet/JAMC feel as far as the simple chord progression, and static raging chorus. Along with those, I tried to create an ambient noise track..hence the Eno soundalike. But most of all, I wanted a song to drive to. ^^ Thanks for the cool feeback. |

I remember when i got my hands on my first pillows tab, brand new love song...i didn't know a thing about chords, so i stayed up until about four in the morning, and i had to be at school at seven. I turned on the radio and i heard that my school was closed because of an ice storm, and i played till about five, trying to learn to play faster. I think that's when i figured out i loved the pillows so much. It's that feeling, from intro to end, you know? |
