smashing pumpkins
alright... who else loves the smashing pumpkins? maybe i'm just screwed up, but i can sit around and listen to pumpkins, pillows, nirvana, travis, ours and neil young in the same day.. hell... i've done that in the same hour.
despite all my rage i am still just a rat in a cage...

Wanna go for a ride?
Zero is one cool song. For some reason, when I listen to it, I can think of only one character: Haruharu Haruko.
I don't know why they broke up (I heard Billy was mad at the Asian guitarist); but I say that they need to return and turn up the angst! Now saying that, I cannot wait for Billy Corgin's new album to come out.
BTW: which song is it that goes The killer in me is the killer in you?

The Smashing Pumpkins are (were?) a great band. their sheer variety of songs always amazes me, from zero and where boys fear to tread to cupid de locke and tonight, tonight. I'm hoping for a pixies-esque reunion
There's a PBS kids ad (it might've been local, i dunno) where this 8 year old kid air-guitars the opening riff from where boys fear to tread. It was funny.

the asian guitarrist dude was a part of zwan, i believe... which means it probably wasn't a schizm between them...
