one of the best one and done (albums) bands of all time. none of owen's albums even compare in my opinion.
I can also see why you'd be in the mood for AF, since its one of those 'nursing the open wounds after a breakup' albums.

American Football's album is one of my top five records of all time, they were just terrific. Never Meant is easily one of my favorite songs as well. Few artists have blended intelligent musicality with the warm, personal quality of the best of midwest emo as American Football. I'm glad Skool and I aren't the only ones here who like it. You should give Japanese instrumental band Toe a listen, they're clearly indebted to American Football's sound. |
