For those of you who haven't listened to Big Star, you're really missing out. Big Star was a hugely influential band from Memphis that had a short run in the early 70's. Lead singer and principal songwriter Alex Chilton passed away the other day. i heard about this, and he died before his time. they're saying it's a heart attack, but not officially. sad news. |
