No particular order, right? Also I'm playing with "Beatles and 60s music in general" clause so as to keep my focus on relatively new music.

Mass would be in the list if it was a top 11 and not a top 10 I'm sure they'll make the list with the new album
Fucking awesome band
Vampire Weekend
no offense, but i think they're one of the most annoying indie bands ever. just saying. It's Men at Work for hipster kids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNT7uZf7lew

Kaela is both beautiful and talented. I find it hard to dislike any of her songs.
I really listen to whatever I think sounds good anymore. Lyrics usually come second. MtH has some pretty catchy sounding songs, even though their lyrical quality is seriously zero. That and I need something I can run to when summer rolls around. MtH is very good to run to, because you constantly feel like you should be running away from whatever the fuck is blasting in your ears.
I can understand disliking Diru for their newer stuff, Gackt for his girliness, MtH for their insanity and Paramore, but you can't be suspicious of Dave. He's crazy like a river bends--in a good way, I think.
Top Ten edit (because I forgot some others):
the pillows The Delgados Eufonius The Black Mages (if they would count) Granrodeo Jean-Jacques Burnel Incubus Dave Matthews Band Kimura Kaela Interpol
If I had to extend the ranks, Gackt, MtH, Porno Graffiti and Diru would probably come somewhere after.
I'm up for some suggestions if you guys are willing to give any. I'm not too musically cultured anymore, but I'm open to almost any genre. Most of my shit consists of what I listed.
