What do you guys think of the Gorillaz? I always found their music to be refreshing and interesting. I've been a fan ever since they appeared on Toonami's midnight run, around 9 years ago. They released a new single on the internet today. It's called Stylo. It will feature guests like Mos Def (a personal favorite), Snoop Dogg, and Barry Gibb. I hope it'll be able to match up to Demon Days. *edit* Link fixed. |

Gorillaz were my very first favorite band, if you wanna call them that. I started getting into their stuff back in 2001, when Clint Eastwood was played everywhere. But mostly, thanks to Gorillaz I got into Blur (the man behind Gorillaz is Blur's frontman), Britpop and the alt-rock scene in general. They're still one of my most favorite artists. Have all their albums, compilations and DVDs, and nearly every released song on my computer. As for the new single, I absolutely love it. There's some debate for not being single worthy, radio friendly etc. but I digress. I find it very catchy and it's definitely a grower. Can't wait for Plastic Beach! |

Yeah, they rock. Started listening to them mainly because my brother was really into them for some time. That youtube link you posted in the beginning is broken now, by the way. |
