 Re: Jawbreaker
Definitely an awesome band but I have to admit I haven't really enjoyed what he's done after Jets to Brazil's Orange Rhyming Dictionary. Their last two albums were just sort of...uninspired, honestly. Good to hear he's decided to do music again at least. I kinda doubt anyone but you and I listen to Jawbreaker here.

 Re: Jawbreaker
i've never really been able to get into JTB, but i grew up listening to 'breaker, and i still have yet to find any lyrics that hit me as hard; so many of their songs have become anthems for me and mine.
im about to get a jawbreaker tattoo, actually..

 Re: Jawbreaker
Jawbreaker is pretty great. Jets to Brazil is too, at least their first two albums.
He started a new band called Thorns of Life that's already broken up. There's an audio recording of a live show floating around the internets that sounds okay.
He has a new project now called forgetters that I know nothing about.
Blake Schwartzenbach is pretty awesome, but I would be more impressed if, based on what I've heard from Thorns of Life, it sounded as though he'd progressed as a musician at all in the years since Jets to Brazil.

 Re: Jawbreaker
i'd call it more returning to his roots.
..ok so he's not the most innovative musician - he sure as hell knows how to write lyrics.
