So I was thinking... What's Weird Al up to lately? BAMMO! New hotness. 8)

Skipper Dan (Just a brilliant song, easily my favorite of these new tunes)

Craigslist (The Doors homage featuring Ray Manzarek)

CNR (The White Stripes parody)

Whatever You Like (T.I. parody)

...The video for this is kinda shitty. But the song is on point.

:shred: :shred: :shred: Fuck yeah, Weird Al is on a roll!

I've been a fan for years. The man is a genius. The Doors parody is so accurate.

CNR was priceless, I see a new Chuck Norris on the horizon.

Awww, man I wonder what parodies he has lined up for next year to add to these for the whole album... :)

And of course the polka which typically includes a dozen songs...

Make some projections? lol

Lady Gaga - Poker Face
Coldplay - Viva la Vida
Fall Out Boy - I don't know the song title but it's probably insanely long and unneccesary, it's the song with the video about the African children killing each other and shit
Taylor Swift - Love Story
The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name
Miley Cyrus - The Climb
Kanye West - Love Lockdown
A couple more original songs or pastiches
Polka - Katy Perry, Gym Class Heroes, Silversun Pickups, Britney Spears, Gnarles Barkley, Kings of Leon, Daughtry, Jonas Brothers, Jason Mraz, Beyonce, Regina Spektor

All guesses, maybe I'm thinking a bit too current as he tends to cast a net around the previous few years...

Bumping my little Al thread with Alpocalypse. Of course he'd lead with Lady Gaga. :o

Perform This Way

Another Tattoo and Party in the C.I.A. are awesome!

I think the only dud on here is If That Isn't Love. Don't know how I feel about TMZ and Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me at this point.

He also pretty much nailed the Queen style parody:

:shred:

I'm trying to figure where this album fits overall for me. Fairly high. Bad Hair Day is clear and away my favorite Weird Al record. Running With Scissors, Dare To Be Stupid, and In 3-D come next... I think it's right around there in the 3-6 area. Just looking at the tracklist makes me smile. Straight Outta Lynwood had some great tracks and an extraordinary closer in Trapped at the Drive-Thru but I think Alpocalypse dunks all over Lynwood's weak middle (Virus Alert, Confessions Part III, Do I Creep You Out?)

Very happy. :)

I don't listen to him on a normal basis but saw him in concert last year, he was pretty awesome live. More costume changes than you can shake a stick at.
