 X JAPAN
why dont they get enough recognition over here in the states? you could say that its because they're Japanese and everything, but hey i here a lot more about Loudness and i dont think they were as popular and in my opinion no where near as amazing as X..... well thats my complaint.... enjoy

I haven't heard the music of either band, but a few seconds on Wikipedia provided me with an obvious answer to your question.
Loudness were the first Heavy Metal act signed in the United States, releasing five albums before 1997 and hitting the Billboard top 100. They toured with Motley Crue, AC/DC, Poison, and Stryper.
X Japan disbanded in 1997. They later gravitated toward a more progressive sound, rather than Loudness's gravitation toward commercial pop-metal. Finally, X Japan were on an independent label.
Reading helps. "I like my band better than that other band, so they should therefore be more popular," doesn't.

nice research, i didnt know most of that; but i didnt mean to say that X should be more popular because i think theyre better, i was just stating my opinion that i think X is better, though i probably couldve made that more clear... so good point
