define spirited... 'cause i wouldn't put billy corgan on a list of guitarists without james iha being higher... i'm a huge corgan fan but come on :X

and if j mascics is your number 1, where are kurt cobain and neil young? have you seen the dvd of neil young fighting with his guitar AND his tie in germany. that's spirit.

I don't think you understand what it means to be a "good" player. Writing some crap song that you like doesn't make them good. Everybody on here is a rock player, and 99/100 guitarists who are really "spirited," meaning play good emotionally connectable things don't play rock. Rock has dumbed down what being an instrumentalist is. And fucking Creed? WHAT THE HELL, MAN?
