I meant to do this a month ago; but kept pushing it back.

For those who saw the Pillows in NY, we all know the disaster that was known as Daddy. They were the wrong band to play with the Pillows, the lead singer was God awful, and what's worse: they had the audacity to do a Slayer cover. NO ONE COVERS SLAYER UNLESS THEY'RE WORTHY ENOUGH TO DO SO! And then they do a Metallica song. [size=150]The band shall suffer a horrible fate for doing a disgraceful cover of a good metal song![/size] Daddy wants me?! Not if they're the last form of music left on Earth!!!

i didn't go to any of the shows, but i heard a song on their website. man...the singer...words can't describe how bad she is. and from what i read at the NY show, thats stupid how she was saying "we're your really daddy." freakin lame. and the spitting water into the crowd? people still do that shit? hahahahahahaha! honestly, if i were there, i would have screamed out something like this: "SHUT THE F*** UP, B****!!!!! BRING ON THE PILLOWS!!!!"

me and my brother started chanting "pillows pillows" when she was talking. I thought she was a man at first, she like barked into her mic and was like a monkey. She spat water on me too, i hated her! The bassist was cool looking though, he looked like cousin IT from adam's family. And can't forget that drummer with an undershirt on that had "F*** Everybody" written on it with like a magic marker. But yeah, i can't stand being in a crowd that crowded when the band sucks, when the pillows were on, i didn't care.

i think it might be a little harsh to say that they suck (except for the slayer cover, that definatley sucked), but they just didnt belong playing with the pillows and the noodles. but they did make the pillows seem a whole lot better after having to watch them.

Actually, if they ditched the singer they could be an excellent band. I enjoyed alot of their music because you couldn't hear much of the vocals anyway. Their guitarist was actually quite impressive. The slayer cover was spot on and they were talented enough to do it (aside from the singer). Yes, they do suck. But I wouldn't trash the whole band.

I don't think the band was that horrible. I'll admit the lead singer was painful to hear at times, but she obviously had a trained voice that carried better than any other singer those nights. She just needs to find a different band or maybe even genre. The guitarist really seemed like he knew what he was doing though.
