Here's an interesting band. They are apparently a half-Japanese indie rock/shoegaze band based out of New York. They remind me a bit of Luminous Orange, but more poppish, I suppose. Check out the album "Citrus." It doesn't hurt that the singer is a total babe.

http://www.pirouzu.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2390 But yeah, "Citrus" is a great album. The music is both epic & beautiful; like a good Miyazaki flick. And they do remind me a lot of Luminous Orange. I'm hoping to get their other two (live album & self-titled). |
