 Polaris
Ahh, Polaris, you hold a special place in my heart with the songs Hey Sandy, She is Staggering, Everywhere, and Waiting for October.
Let us not forget the good old songs, especially the song (Summerbaby) that was constantly broadcast on WART radio.
Bonus points and much lub to those who know what band I'm talking about.

The band from Pete and Pete. I think there's already a topic about them a few pages back.

Man, it seems like the more I listen to this band, the more I like them.
It's a shame that they don't have more songs and stuff. I really like the 90's nostalgia.

I like. "Everywhere" is nigh perfect.
Blank, you can always try the band they actually came from, Miracle Legion. They basically just subtracted a member to form Polaris. They're pretty good, too.

Oh, I know Melon Man, but for some reason, I dunno, Miracle Legion just doesn't seem to be -as win- as Polaris.
My bet is because almost all of the Polaris songs mean something speshul to me in some way.
Mr. Spaceman is pretty funny.

Maybe they're songs aren't as memorable, but they're still probably my favorite REM-style band, other than the early career of REM themselves.
