The new album may be their best.

The new (and unreleased till January I believe) album underwhelms me.

January is right.

How much have you heard of the album?

the new album is mediocre. Kyoko and I agreed it sounds like the shins trying to rip off the shins.

I saw some of their new stuff live in September and after reviewing their old albums it kinda sounds the same. So I agree with the negative reviewers. This will be nothing special.

Listened to it all the way through once, and then about 75% through again. It's okay as background music if I'm doing something, but I really didn't find anything memorable about it as I did with, say, Chutes too Narrow.

Damn, I had somewhat high hopes for this album.

I personally think that both the song and the new album are weak.

Not saying they aren't good musically, but they're just reallly boring.

I liked Phantom Limb A LOT. Sleeping Lessons was an okay song, until it picks up by the end... I thought it got better at that point. Other than that it as a decent/mediocre album.

Bummer. :(

Well, there's always "When I Goosestep" and "Those Bold City Girls." It's like rediscovering the Shins.

Some of the new stuff dosen't sound anything like the shins,

that's my biggest problem with the album.

Well, that and the overall lack of quality material.
