Does anybody know where I can get a vintage white Fender Cyclone?

I need a knew guitar. I went to Guitar Center today...and they didn't have anything of interest. I already have a Strat, and that's all they seemed to have on the walls.

I've plans to buy a few guitars, but the Cyclone will be my next purchase...

...if I can find one.

Right now, they don't make cyclones in vintage white, so you would have to either get an old one or buy a new one and get it painted.

Wasn't it arctic white? Manabe's mustang was vintage white.

But yeah, I've never seen white ones for sale on ebay either, but someone is bound to EVENTUALLY put one up for bidding.

Quoted for truth.

This seems to be the Mustang Manabe uses:

Listed as "VWH" (Vintage White), though the little color tab doesn't really match up correctly.

But as for buying one...aren't they supposed to have crappy stock pickups, and pretty bad tuning problems?

Jomei - worth it?

I got mine off ebay. I was lucky, though....

I don't know if it's an original or a paint job, but it looks Vintage White to me...

Mine's okay, but I'm thinking about new pickups, frets, and a good setup... the last owner didn't treat her too well.

On a related note, are Cyclones good guitars?

I've heard mixed feelings, so just wondering. I've been looking at buying a better guitar, and I think I've narrowed it down to a Cyclone, a Schecter C-1, and a Mustang.

Not the same. Those have 2 humbuckers, regular ones have one at the tail.

I really rather like my Cyclone, but it's not a really high-end guitar stock. The Japanese ones might be of higher quality; mine's a MIM. As far as I know, the Japanese ones are also the only ones with that color scheme - all the American ones come in either red, yellow, orange or black with a white pickguard, and the Squier models come in blue and black. If I remember, Fender also stopped making Cyclones and brought out the Cyclone II instead, which in my opinion looks just like a Strat clone.
