Anyone else into them? I like 'em quite a bit. I decided to listen to them a while ago, cuz they heavily influenced Go!Go!7188 (Top 5 or so on my favorite bands list). They're quite good. Pretty poppy, but it's fun, not annoying. |

Defintely one of my favorite bands ever. I love Yuki's voice, it's amazing. Even in the live videos. I just love everything about them. Takuya's guitaring is effing amazing! |

Bump. The other thread reminded me about this, but Yuki's voice is amazing, as has been stated... but she's crazy apparently..? Anyone know wtf that means? |

I just looked at this band, and am having difficulty discerning who is Judy and who is Mary. Edit: Oh, and this song I'm listening to - catchy, although it seems a bit juvenile. |

So, exchange "Judy" in place of "Sheena." Otherwise, exchange "Punkrocker" in place of "Punk." |

I found it funny that the Ramones have "Judy is a Punk." and "Sheena is a Punk Rocker." and Judy and Mary have "Judy is a Punk Rocker." |

I like YUKI's solo stuff a lot better than the Judy & Mary material (same goes with her other band Mean Machine). Still there are a few gems here and there. |

Judy and Mary were my first Japanese band that I really got into. YUKI's vocals, Takuya's crazy guitar skills, Onda's thundering bass, and Kohta's solid drumming make for an amazing first exposure to Japanese music. Really brings back memories reading this thread. Hearing Onda's bass solo thing on "Little Miss Highway" Pop Life Suicide Volume 1 VHS casette still gives me shivers. |
