 BORIS Heard this band a while ago, someone from The Gear Page went to one of their shows and linked to their website ( http://homepage1.nifty.com/boris/top.html ). They're sort of a doom/stoner metal outfit, really heavy, slow, Black Sabbath-descended stuff. I somewhat enjoy them, but can't listen to any of their stuff for very long without my ears hurting from the sheer force of Black Beauty Les Paul w/P-90s --> original 70's Orange Overdrive.
And yes, they're JAPANESE

I was looking for music from these guys a while ago back when I was on my Japanese metal escapade.
You wouldn't happen to be in posession of any albums, would you?

mmmm.. I haven't heard them yet, but some guy on the radio said they would be performing with someother band at the Walker art center (or somewhere) in minneapolis. that's all i know.
oh and by the way, im new

Well, since BORIS was featured with Sun0))) in last week's issue of the New York Times Magazine, I think it would be considerably easier to get our hands on some of their music now. I'll give it a shot when my own internet is restored.

Not like, ICP-crowd strange, but pretty damn strange nonetheless.
Actually now that I think about it the ICP crows is just a bunch of annoying wiggers. So yeah the SunO))) crowd is a shit ton weirder than the ICP crowd.

They played the same night at the same venue as Electric Eel Shock. They were in the bigger venue downstairs. Heard they were kinda cold to the audience; but the set was awesome.
