I always loved Vince Guaraldi and Bola Sete's cover.
Yes, you win.

Nova Bossa: Red Hot on Verve
All must own.
By the way, jedi - have you heard Brazilian Girls? "Parts pop, art, electronica, world, dance, and dub (think Grace Jones, Blondie, Sugar Cubes, and Astrud Gilberto having a party).
Not really bossanova per sé, but it's very nice.

I like it, it's great chill-out music. Is this Bossanova? It sounds like something I'd hear in a lounge or Jazz cafe. I like this style of music, but I definitely couldn't listen to it all the time, I'd be relaxing way too much, haha

God, I love the song, Girl From Ipanema, ever since I heard it in the movie, Catch Me if You Can.

"The Girl from Ipanema" is basically the most well-known Bossanova song ever.

Yesterday I went out and purchased 2 historic Jazz/Bossa Nova albums. I got Getz/Gilberto which is the album that contains "The Girl From Ipanema" and the album that introduced Bossa Nova to the USA some 3 years before Getz/Gilberto, Jazz Samba. I can confirm the fapping from both these albums, will be great.
