Post New Strokes Album
Did anyone else pick it up?

After listening to it through twice, but while doing other things, i thought it was really good. There are some songs that i thought were kind of boring, but there other albums had 1 or 2 songs like that in my opinion. I'm gonna take a better listen later, but personally, i think it's deffinately worth buying.

Just bought it today. I love it! I don't see the need for the censor sticker on it. I'd let a kid listen to it.

I thought the Parental Advisory label was pretty weird, too. The Juicebox single got one for 'sexual content' (the video is included).

I bought the album a couple of days ago. It's pretty good for the most part, but I don't think it's on the same level as Room on Fire.

I think the PA label might be more for what's in the booklet (boobies!) than the lyrics. Yeah, I know that dosen't really make any sense, but I can't see any other reasons why they'd give that warning for just a couple of fucks and a shit.

Quoted for a potentially sweet band name.

The thing is those pictures are actual artworks from famous artists. I saw the "Boobie Scoutgirl" at a Pop Culture art exhibit years ago at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. (It even had Andy Warhol's famous soup can painting :D.) The PA thing happened to Louis XIV, too. Hell, I've seen art covers that feature women in the nude (Jane's Addiction comes to mind); and they don't get slapped with a "Parental Advisory". America is going backwards. Commercials in Britain and Japan feature women in the nude, and all is well; but a 1/4 second of boobie at the 2004 Super Bowl in the U.S., and everyone complains. It's time we changed our views (or move to Britain/Japan, whatever comes first).

Not sure if this ties with Room On Fire. Is this It is still my favorite. Has anybody heard the Brazil concert version of Juicebox... his voice hella cracks. It's hilarious.
