Post Nine Miles freaks me out.
The Third Eye: The vocals remind me of nitrous oxide, and I think they are going to kill me in my sleep.

A Perfect Circle: Again, whispy and creepy.

Freeze Contact: This track makes me feel scared and sad at the same time.

Cause of Joy: Again, the "laughing-gas" mob vocals. Weird.

Good Luck System Debora: This is the song the aliens play for you when you're getting abducted.

Anyone else feel the same way? Nine Miles just has this really strange overly happy/stoned euphoric sound that makes it weird to listen to.

I find Nine Miles music relaxing but very interesting at the same time.

PS: In before "kill yourself" replies.

I listen to Nine Miles on mushrooms sometimes, and it's good stuff. I love Good Luck System Debora.

It really is great stuff, and the only thing I dislike about it is a couple of the synth's are pretty cheesy - like the brass.. it's off putting for friends when I show it to them too, but then they sorta realise it's pretty stellar anyway.

Freeze Contact is the best though, because of all the wet, sticky percussion-like sound and the impossible to understand lyrics. So nice.

Ah, this topic. After more listenings, I've gotten to accept the hypnotic euphoria much more.

I need to d/l some more. nao.

I know this may sound weird.
But Nine Miles is absolutely my favorite music err... group? Artist?
Well, whatever you would like to call it, it has grown so much on me. And to the point I can actually understand most of the songs.

I mean, Divison Three. I'm sure no one knows who Yoshiaki refers to.
