PENPALS are breaking up.
since 8/96, when kinya, moriya, and munemasa (?) started out as PENPALS, and after yoshihito officially joined, for a long time they have easily delivered a multitude of performances and actively released albums while maintaining their unique stance in their activities. their history is a record of all the members recklessly continuing to fight, despite occasional setbacks, for the sake of boosting their musicianship. the members, and the staff, have the utmost pride for the passionate support given by the fans.
after PENPALS took a break, all the members turned to their own music and begin to think about their individual musical activities. and, in order to express themselves as individual artists in their remaining time, they chose the path of breaking apart.
through the shows and the works of PENPALS, the members and staff are thankful to have shared this wonderful time with the fans.
we hope you will continue to give your warm encouragement to the members as they embark on their new journey.
thank you so much for supporting PENPALS for all this time.
