The Novembers
I've recently stumbled upon this band on Last.fm, and listened to a few tracks. I'm impressed, but I can't really find any of their stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2sJ5D_GqlQ They sound like some kind of mix between a shoegaze band Asian Kung-Fu Generation, which are two things that I love. If anyone could provide me with an album or two, that would be amazing.

Re: The Novembers
They interested me with their song Kowareru. http://www.myspace.com/thenovembers11Sounded a bit like Number Girl there, with the heavy tremolo dip, with the metallic tone of the rhythm...but then. Eh. Not really my band.

Re: The Novembers
Saw them live along with The Jerry, People in the Box, and Tacica during Tacica's Parallel Park tour. They're pretty good. You can find their releases over at the jmr forum with ease. Not my favorite band by any shot, but when I'm in the mood, their heavy sound is just awesome.

Re: The Novembers
Sounds like 50% Ling Tosite Sigure, 25% Number Girl, and 25% Syrup16g. That's a really good combination, by the way.

Re: The Novembers
Yeah, I hear that a lot. Tacica were definitely the stars of the show, and not just because it was their tour. Best to worst live performances:
Tacica > People in the Box > The Jerry (surprised by this) > The Novembers
Not that the Novembers were bad, I think part of it was the guitars being too loud.
