Re: Artist you're currently listening to. Went to Book Off today for my first time. Just barely found out about it last week. Picked up 7 child's books to help me with my hiragana comprehension and a bit of simple vocab. I also picked up 3 CDs. Two of which I got since I had heard good things about them here. I got Mr. Children - 1992-1995 and Bloodthirsty Butchers - Beat the Drum, as well as Moomin - No More Trouble. The latter is a reggae artist I heard do a collaboration with a Japanese reggae band I liked, so, I got it for that reason.
They had a pillows section but were all sold out. They had Tokyo Jihen who I wanted to give a try but I couldn't read the characters to tell whether or not it was Tokyo Jihen or some random band with kanji in their title. All I read so far is Hiragana.

My monitor went out for a while and all I had to keep me company was the backup cds I burned 3 years ago of whatever was on my comp at the time. So I watched all of my pillows videos with compatible codex's and forgot how bad 916 is versus Hello, Welcome to etc... BUT MAN. I forgot I had burned shit tons of PLC, Bump of Chicken, and AKG videos...

I almost got to see them at AX in Anaheim back in 2004, but the show was going to be held after the convention and no one wanted to stay two extra days with me. If I would have known they were about to break up I would have stayed by myself to see them.

I just managed to hunt down a comp of Teengenerate ("Smash Hits") so I'm rockin that. But cant find anything else of theirs =/ apparently every label they ever released on no longer exists. ftl.
