I've heard all their songs. I stand by what I said.

I thought that the bass in AKG was pretty simple.
Have you heard the basslines!? They are rarely simple sometimes the bass is more complex than the guitar work. And they do have talent, they just do not always use it to its full potential. Check out their indie work specifically the song "Need Your Love" from the album "I'm Standing Here" that song has some really good guitar work just listen carefully after the solo ends to hear those icredible riffs KEN-CHAN plays.
@t Silent t McLovin is that you!?
Interestingly enough, Need Your Love DID stand out to me when I first listened to it as having a really sweet guitar line, though I agree that the bass on AKG is usually pretty standard and nothing special.

It's partially why I like the Sparta Locals more. While some of the newer stuff may not live up to expectations, they've always done interesting things with the bass.

New single is pretty good, especially the A side.

Yeah, the PV was pretty awesome too. With aru machi no gunjou and now After Dark rocking so hard, the next album has a strong chance of being much better than fanclub.

I really like After Dark, specially the PV. Yogahama Kite is really awesome too, probably even better than after dark.
I highly await their new album which is coming out January Hopefully ^_-

I'm not gonna lie. After Dark gets me hot and bothered. The PV is interesting, but the song itself generally kicks ass except for the bridge.

I agree, After Dark has gotten me pretty excited for this new album. Haven't gotten to hear the b-side yet though. Hopefully the news album will be pretty good. I liked Fanclub a lot, so I hope they can build on that and the new single.

I think Fanclub was a huge step down from Sol-fa, as the songs were unmemorable and most of them lacked the energy and melodic catchiness of most AKG songs, but both of the singles since then have been absolutely great, so I think the next album will be really good.
Then again, both singles for Fanclub were really good too.

Well I've always considered Sol-fa to just be a bit better than Fanclub. I love how Fanclub ends with Senseless, Gekkou, and Tightrope, definteily my favorite three songs on that album. The whole second half of the album is really solid.
Sol-fa though is pretty awesome all the way through.

if you deleted it seconds after you downloaded it, chances are you never gave it a reasonable listen in the first place.
seasonable couch.
