Shit, Tidusaurus. I'm certainly in no position to judge this, so all I can say is that I enjoyed it very much.

If you move to New Jersey or New York, you can play keys and synth in Sheer's/my band.

That was really good dude, I'm listening to it a second time now.

i still have this site bookmarked after... 7, 8 years? holy shit. i still remember doing the tab for white summer/green bicycle haha. a lot has happened since then, and i've made my own album. the genre is a bit different but i think the melodic influences are definitely intact. pillows are still easily my favorite band!

let me know what you guys think: http://soundcloud.com/castlesmusic

edit: tidu that track is 4 minutes of gorgeous

Very spacey stuff, sounds kind of like it's wanting vocals or something for the most part though.

Are you Jan or Asa? If you're Asa, we could have an "Ask Asa" segment on IM.

You guys should be renamed as the Wonder Twins, like Zan and Jayna.

I like it. That shit is hot. What a disturbing metaphor, though.

IM is Instant Music, and as far as I know we don't have an IRC channel. I haven't listened to your music yet, but I am sure it is good. I'll give it a listen tomorrow. For now, sleep.

Do you have any consumer advice for us, Asa?

Mare dosen't like that kind of music, haha. I've tried sending him downtempo stuff before, house, nu-jazz, and he's all baaaaw no lyrics, "wheres the soul".

Great stuff aellyn.

It's not that I don't like that sort of music, it's just that as somebody who spent years in choral groups and loves to sing, I also happen to love listening to vocal music more often than not, and there's a difference between having no vocals and having no strong melodic hooks. I only gave a skim through his songs, but it sounded good, just a little unfinished on some of them.

Nice tune. I cannot say I am a fan of the vocals, but I guess I'm sort of a stickler for vocal timbre (as well as fine hamburgers)...is that you singing? Sounds like there is a female backup too, at the end, but it could be a young boy, it was hard to tell...I like your music, though.

Hey! I've actually just finished my first album. Feel free to download it for free/buy it (pay what you want!), all funds are going towards a trip to Japan this summer. Wish me luck! And I hope you like the music. (I thank Sawao in the liner notes).

This is fantastic, man! You're quite the song writer...and awesome diversity in your sound. I can hear the Weezer influence.
