Well, until somebody hears it, I'm going to assume it's the same as the one on the Kocorono hidden tracks. Hrm.

Post Re: Bloodthirsty Butchers
Too long of a silence on this thread. Anywho, I've done some trolling on soulseek, and found some shit I haven't seen on any BB albums or anything. I was hoping someone could shed some light on the subject since my knowledge of the BB discography is pretty damned limited (The titles may have just been translated from Japanese, but I strongly doubt they're on any albums). Does anyone have/know of the following mp3's:

If You Love Something Set It Free [cover 3-np iylssif; 千葉NOTORIOUS(Nukey Disc)]
Modulator [Red Zone Disk]
Junkadelic - Medlay:Cobra-Karasu-L.M [Red Zone Disk]
Outdoor Miner [cover 2-wire om; Split CD]
Water [Album = Taste]
Bloodthirsty Butchers + Kentaro Nakao - Cut In Loose [A Case OF Rftc Junkies -Tribute To Rocket From The Crypt-]
I Found That Essence Rare (Bonus Track) [Split CD]
??????????(dear john Lennon version) [Scrambled up text before the parenthesis; I don't know the album]

Okay, so I know the source for all of those except "If you love something set it free" and the "dear john lennon version" of kanashimi wo buttobase (the reason for the "john lennon version" is that "kanashimi wa buttobase" is the japanese title of "you've got to hide your love away").

the Red Zone Disk is a sort of three-song sampler btb put out back in the day, unsure of the release date, but it's at the bottom of the "other" section on their discography. It doesn't list a third track, and that Junkadelic thing is listed as a track 6, so I'm not sure if that belongs there...

Outdoor Minter is from btb vs fOUL, as is I found that essence rare

The Cut in Loose is from the RFTC tribute, as it says, which I have

Water is probably the track from the brb/RFTC split

The guy blank got these from DOES have a few tracks skool and I haven't managed to track down, I'm in line for them and will leave soulseek on in hopes of getting them sometime by tomorrow night or something lol.

I swear, if I ever kill myself I'll do it while listening to Boku.

Boku is easily one of the Butchers' best songs. It doesn't get enough love.

If I ever found a country, Boku is going to be the national anthem.

I don't know much about this band, but I have this live compilation CD from one Yo Yo a Go Go festival from years ago, and there's a song by Bloodthirsty Butchers on it, called "Lost in Time." I'm assuming it's the same Bloodthirsty Butchers, I don't know anything about it or anything, but figured it pertained to this thread. Is anyone interested in it?

If it's different than the normal version, that'd be sexy to have.

I think what it is is just a live recording from the festival. I think it took place around 1993 or something in Olympia. Honestly, I don't think the sound quality of any the recordings is that great, though. Here it is anyway though :groovin:
