Thrice, I think my above post applys to you aswell.
But I have to give you credit, you accurately described your Yngwie recording.
Really short. Very sloppy. Really crappy recording.
Yeah, that's old though. And me set up is pretty ghetto so that doesn't help. I'm going through a mic and it's buzzing and the distortion is wayyyy to high for the computer so that also makes it sound bad. I'm not exactly proud of that recording, and I'm going to re-do it again and add more of the song to it. I finally figured out how to put two guitar tracks on one in here because before it wwouldn't work and it would mess everything up.

zero, I don't understand.
here are four good reasons why I am never posting another song here again.
Sorry zero, but I honestly did not know what you were going for.
I can't do the amazing stuff Sclone does because I haven't spent hundreds of hours on it, and apparently neither have you.

I have spent hours working on my guitaring, (not years like sclone, he's always going to be better then me), I though this one wasnt going to get laughed at. I was wrong.
Apparently not enough to be doing shred style playing. To me, it sounds like random notes. Sure, you play them fast, and I give you credit for that much, but it sounds to me like you're fakin' it. Not really makin' it. Just fakin' it. This feeling that you're fakin' it. I still haven't shaken it.
Anyway zero, take my advice and just slow it down a bit. Like I said, I'm sure you'll turn out a good one eventually... once you find a speed and style you can play.

I didn't hear it, but from what i can gather i'll say this:
when you start out, better to play what you can slow than what you can't fast

Wrong. You're supposed to slow the whole song down to a speed at which you can play it and then start increasing speed.

darn. that goes against the whole way i learn things. i like to play it fast horribly, but get better as i go, until it's right and fast.
If anyone wants to check out my song Green Sea, or my Bright Eyes cover Something Vague. Actually...please give me some feedback! Guitar wise, you could work on your time a bit. Picking exercises and practicing to a metronome will do wonders for that. Vocally I would work on projecting a bit more, and practicing scales. Definitely a good start though.

THE FUCK? You said that you should try to play things you can't play fast. That is the fucking opposite of what I said. You're supposed to play things that are hard slowly first. I never said anything about playing things you can't play at a fast tempo. Learn to communicate your point clearly. Is English your first language?
EDIT: Oh well, you tried to sound smart, and hopefully had fun doing so, so I guess it's ok that you failed miserably.
