after years of being a death cab hater, i'm going to have to admit he wrote a pretty good song. i heard it on the radio today. if johnny cash were singing it, i would have genuinely enjoyed it... man, if death cab wasn't an bunch of "indie" tools, they might be good? blasphemy.

I didn't mind Death Cab for Cutie until I heard those songs "Soul Meets Body" and whatever the other one was... "Crooked Teeth", was it? on the radio FIFTY QUADRILLION ZILLION GABILLION TIMES. I hate those songs more than I can possibly describe because for MONTHS they were impossible to escape. That alone makes me not want to have anything to do with this band.

I actually like The Postal Service, though.

I can remember that the first few times I listened to Plans, I usually just skipped to that song first and set it on repeat. It still sounds like an Elliott Smith melody to me (most people think I'm crazy for saying that)...
