Guys, ELLEGARDEN is officially breaking up They say that all four members will be involved in different projects, but now they can no longer agree with each other while writing music.

Btw, the ELLEGARDEN BEST album came out yesterday.

What the heck are you talking about? They've planned the release of that album for quite a while, before they actually announced they were even going on hiatus, as I recall. On top of that, Hosomi has repeatedly stated over and over again that they are not breaking up.

I haven't seen any news anywhere saying that they've actually broken up, but rather have only seen repeated denials from the band themselves, so I'd really like to know where you're getting this "they're officially broken up" stuff. Whoever told you that prooooobably doesn't know what they're talking about. And I think that best of release has been out for several days already, too.

It came out yesterday, or maybe the day before.

I HOPE these guys haven't broken up... I'm just starting to really like them.

If they had actually announced they were breaking up, there would be blogs and topics about it all over mixi and stuff, and there aren't. Plus, I've seen no announcment of them breaking up. Alucard doesn't know wtf he's talking about, or was told by somebody who doesn't know wtf they're talking about.

Just becaues they're releasing a best of doesn't mean they're splitting up. the pillows and Spitz both have best of albums, but are far from breaking up, just to name two quick examples.

btw I'm probably buying this next week sometime, they remastered the tracks, and I heard that some of the tracks are a little different or something, though I have no confirmation on that.

Also, seeing them live next weekend in Kyoto.

I wish I could see them live, but it's not part of the plan.
