I wonder if he's good. Maybe he just has a really odd bass because he's rich and spent money on it. Or he could be good. I really dont know who he is.

Basses with more than 4 strings aren't that crazy. My current bassist mainly relies on a 6er. And i've played with people who have 9 string basses. Not as rediculous as you may think.
