*copy-pasted from my myspace. sorry for the double-post. but that last one came out kinda suddenly.. Overall, the show was great. Cesar, Culen, his friend (fun guy~), and eventually Ureshii and his friend(Tatsu-Kun) were there as the "Instant Music Group". anywayz, they were selling Ivy ($12), God Cable ($15), On the Wall.dvd ($15), Go! Delicious! Go! ($12), and i think some shirts.. but they sold out of those pretty quick.
Pandas are hypocrytes by nature, I though everyone knew that.

Seattle show: REPORT
<pre-show> --the concert that almost wasn't-- (interesting story, albeit lengthy)
So BDMonster and I go inside the Crocodile Cafe. We scope it out, and decide to sit down. A waitress comes over, asks if we want a menu. We're not hungry, so no - but apparently, you have order something to stay inside. It's fair enough. So BDMonster says in a totally non-agressive tone: "Oh ok. So what's the cheapest thing you have here? Could I get some toast or something?"
Waitress: "Ugh! Well, if you wanna be like that --::gets flustered:: angry.gif" She walks over to this big black dude who works at the venue. He comes over to us: "So it looks like you guys smarted off to the wrong person today. I gotta ask you two to leave. We don't argue it much. We have been kicked out of the Crocodile Cafe. 40 minutes till the show opens.
Alright, so we wait outside in the cold Seattle weather til 4:00. We come in, and BDMonster asks a guy if he could get his ticket (he bought it online). He gets a total bullshit response: "Well, uh - your name has to be on the list. And it's not." At that point, we get told that we're actually B7'd from the fucking Crocodile Cafe. That means no show. wtf. Back outside.
*Insert doom*.
My mom was gonna pick us up after the show, so I call her to tell her about the situation. And see, my mom basically pwns ass (she likes the pillows, and actually got us into their soundcheck back in May...thats another story). She, without my knowing, calls the Croc, talks with a nice lady. She explains everything, how its a big misunderstanding - a guy comes out soon after saying "Alright, you guys can come back in." Haha, at the moment he walked out of the building, BD and I both agreed that he looked like he was gonna beat us up.
We get in, get past the now INSANELY intimidating Croc Nazis, and enter the main room. We see AWPJudy and his girlfriend there. Cool dude, mos def. I think may have seen Seig Cracka from slsk...he looked pretty "scene" if you know what I mean. bout a half hour later, The Stereo Future plays.
<END pre-show>
<the show>
The Stereo Future basically kicked a ton of ass. I have no idea what the hell the people who didn't like them are smoking, but it must be mighty powerful. Bassist = awesome, great vocals. Lead guitar = insanely talented finger picking ftw. Drums = Fantastic. Rhythm/PowerBook = Kickass. All of their songs were frickin' euphoric, I don't know how you could've possibly not liked them.
Mon Frere: Semi-local band. I didn't like em much. BD thought they were alright... It's basically: Hard Evil Rock + Crazy Drums + Annoying Vocals + Keyboard + Castlevania. Not much to say here, other than I thought they blew.
Noodles: fuckin' awesome, especially when you're 4 feet away from Yoko. They played: Blush Timpani, Bound Lily, Hush Bell, Draw, Splash, Fool Song, Ever Fallen In Love, and She Her. Yeah, Ikuno was a zombie (yet great) as expected...but hot damn, Yoko just hit everything perfectly. The best thing was that she looked like she was having an awesome time playing, especially during the "lead" parts. Splash was amazing!. She, Her of course rocked the house...although it will never be as good with only 3 people. The set list wasn't really all I'd hoped for...Flash? New Wave? Fuzz Hill? Well, as BDMonster said..."If you try sometimes, you just might find...you get She, her." Overall, a huge success. Oh, and Ayumi's high hat did fall apart once. heh.
Yeah, so although we were basically scared shitless before the show, it turned out to be great. I'll probably pick up some Stereo Future stuff soon.
I took very few pictures...a few didn't turn out so well...here are four:
Awesome Yoko pic: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/storm...certs/yoko1.jpg
Meh Yoko pic: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/storm...certs/aymi2.jpg
Ikuno: http://photobucket.com/albums/y99/stormyso...rrent=ikuno.jpg
L->R: BDMonster, AWPJudy, me (lolz, i suck at photographs): http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/storm...certs/group.jpg
Luckiest moment: All three of us got set lists. Judy got Ikuno's, BD got Yoko's and I got Ayumi's. I'll scan it later.
Strange: Old dude with a huge beard/ponytail with a copy of Ivy.
Yoko said they'd be back again. That's a very good thing. Too bad I totally loathe the Crocodile Cafe now.

I forgot to mention that Stereo Future Live is waaaaay better than recorded. So you probably won't be impressed once you get their record. Unless you heard the stuff on GO! DELICIOUS GO!. In which case... yeah.

you can still hear the live show from UC Davis on the radio website.
http://169.237.101.62/archives/Ed%20and ... 20(128kbps).m3u
save the playlist and it should be the show that's 36 minutes long. Feb 6th. the stereo future part starts at around 9minutes30seconds into the show. but yea.. their live shows are a lot more interesting cuz they like to play loud although the songs don't seem like they would get that loud.

I actually recorded that show on UC Davis. You can download the mp3s here:

I didn't know what the second song was at the time, but according to Jomei it's Copies Yesterday.

Was there that "45" song in there somewhere? If so, I don't have it.
