"Chain" is a very cool song. Sort of reminds me of Pixies' "Bird Dream Of The Olympus Mons." I can definitely hear some Jesus and Mary Chain in there too. The song sort of feels like it needs vocals though.
Edit: I think I've posted this song somewhere before, but whatever. It's a song I recorded a few months ago. It's not my most interesting work, but it's a nice song. This was also recorded before I got good at singing, so take that as you will.

And here's some insane artsy nonsense I recorded:

I don't even know what to say in response to zero's song. That was like... really fucking fast and all... but wow. I think I need to lie down.

Zero, I would like to atleast try to help your playing. Speed is great, its sounds cool, it's impressive, but if it's sloppy, it's shit.
You need to take it back a few steps, slow down, practice your major and minor
scales all over the neck. Work on the correct fingerings, and pay attention to your picking hand.
Speed picking is all about the up down up down motion. Start slow, keep it clean
and in time, and before you know it, you will be fast as hell.
Basically what I am saying is that the speed takes care of itself.
I didn't start out playing fast, I had to work up to it.
EDIT: If you want some ex. that I worked on, I could send them to you.

Good advice Sclone. Playing shred stuff isn't something you just decide to do and then you're good at it. I can't do the amazing stuff Sclone does because I haven't spent hundreds of hours on it, and apparently neither have you. You just need to find a happy medium between the first few songs you posted and this thing. Somewhere in there something will sound good.

I tend not to play a lot of ultra-fast stuff when I play rock. With the style I play with it just doesn't fit that well. I do, however, really focus on the theoretical aspects of soloing. I mean, the various inversions of the pentatonic scale are great and all, but there's WAY more to a solo than that. I tend to be sort of a show off with jazz though.

Uhh trilogy is old and i can play more of it and do it better now, and the jazz thing i wrote and recorded the other night. It's bad. Dee was recoreded a while ago and i think i messes up in there somewhere. Anyway i'm shy when it comes to this stuff, so be gentle.

I tried to listen to your music but it makes iTunes take a shit and die. No luck with VLC, Real or QT either. Something seems to be goofy with your MP3s.

here are four good reasons why I am never posting another song here again.
I can't do the amazing stuff Sclone does because I haven't spent hundreds of hours on it, and apparently neither have you.
I have spent hours working on my guitaring, (not years like sclone, he's always going to be better then me), I though this one wasnt going to get laughed at. I was wrong.

Thrice, I think my above post applys to you aswell.
But I have to give you credit, you accurately described your Yngwie recording.
Really short. Very sloppy. Really crappy recording.
