Taffy's cover went up recently, it's extremely good. I think it'll make top 20, though it's such an obscure song that it might have a little trouble. I gave it five stars, shit is tight.

Yeah, Taffy's is really great. Way better than most of his old stuff. I was way impressed.

EDIT: I hope they didn't up it too late. I think this next week is like the time when you BETTER upload your cover. Seriously, if you upload in the double digit dates, you're giving yourself a few weeks to catch up to great covers uploaded back in June.

I must say though, right now there are a lot of shitty covers with "TOP20" views right now.

Just makes it easier for those of us with really solid entries to get to Budokan.

That was over the top. I don't think that would win though, they played rather lazily. Whats up with all these shit covers being so high up in views! Now I think it was a bad idea picking a rare old song like mine. The more popular songs are getting higher hits and most of these so called covers really suck.

No offense, but while spending a lot of time and money producing a spiffy video may be unfair and unnecessary, I can't see anyone winning by recording themselves play the guitar over the pillows' studio recording. I would put any ground-up cover, regardless how insipid, over that.

None taken. I don't think that making a video like that is unfair, I think it would not win for just being a over the top video is what I'm really saying. A ground up cover would be nice, but I don't have any friends that would play a pillows song with me. And I don't know about video editing, so I couldn't record myself playing more than one instrument. Playing lead you usually need something to back you up, I only had the original track to back me up, got to work with what you have.

Regarding the Gazelle CIty Cover:

VIDEO: Top notch and awesome! Visually appealing which is a very important part of this competition!

So I have it four stars. It has a very professional atmosphere. Kind of intimidating, I'll be the first to admit that... but it's definitely one of the better covers up there.

Hey guys I'm done with my cover but I'm having a hard time uploading the video
onto the response tool. I upload it and set all the information but it fails to upload
because it has a unkown file type or it can't convert the file because its unknown.

Heres what it says: This message means that your video is in a format that our converters don't recognize. Try converting the video into a different format with a converter or editing program and then uploading it again.

Can someone help?
