ipods are alright and everything, i just dont think they are worth it that much when you can get something nearly the same for atleast $50 less

im talking about the Creative Labs Zen Jukebox
they sell 30 gb ones for $200, $50 cheaper than the ipod mini with only 4 gbs, and $100 cheapre than the 20 gb

so you would be getting 10 gbs more for less than a 4gb ipod

they are nearly the same size too, so i think that is more worth it

Yeah, my bro has one and it's pretty sweet.

Edit: it sucks not being able to use itunes with it. you have to import all your cds on, then add them to the dj. you should be able to rip cds directly to the mp3 player.

i got an ipod shuffle today. 1 gb. apple claims you can fit 240 songs. but thats if you encode 4 minute songs in AAC. thankfully, all my songs are not 4 minutes. and almost all my songs are in AAC. so as of right now, i have 238 songs and i have 214.4 mb left. and i have all my pillows songs on here.

Warg, the iPod shuffle! I would've just saved my money up for an iPod... you know? I'd like to be in control of my music... every last song! Plus, I couldn't fit hardly any of my collection on that little thing (the iPod shuffle, I mean)

The 1GB iPod Shuffle makes no sense. For just $50 more, you could get an iPod Mini.

i can never get a mini simply because my music will go past 6 gigs. i don't have that many more cd's to put in my computer, but with those, plus the 4 pillows albums that i missing, it WILL go past 6 gigs.

the shuffle is only a temporary solution. plus, i recenlty started going to the gym. so its much better for it than a regular pod.

plus, i didn't have any money for the mini at the time.

and i want an ipod photo for the batter life!
