Re: Ging Nang Boyz
I don't like the production on some of the newer tracks (wtf did they do to Berochuu, for example?), and I'm disappointed by the lack of rocking good new material for so long, but oh well.

Re: Ging Nang Boyz
So, after all this time, apparently GNB are releasing a 43 minute music video called "Tokyo Finale" on Christmas Eve. It looks dark and weird. Not sure what to think, but if this means new music (an album!?!?) at long last, I'm excited.

Re: Ging Nang Boyz
Looks like they're releasing two albums in January, one of which is a "live remix" (whatever that is), and a ten-song new album that's 50-60% stuff we've heard already. Still, it's a big improvement over "nothing," and I'll be happy to finally get a studio version of Bokutachi.

Chin and Abiko have left the band. Sigh. edit: and as of today, Murai, too. Welp.

Re: Ging Nang Boyz
Tokyo Finale was weird as fuck shit, but it's just a remix. No idea why Mineta bothered, but the new song is pretty sweet. This link takes you right to where it starts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSIRyLtg ... be&t=4m12s

Re: Ging Nang Boyz
This song sounds pretty good. I guess now we can all start talking about which Girl is our favorite.
GNB may be gone (I guess?) but at least we have Touming Magazine. They're like the best stuff about GNB and early Number Girl combined into one band. If y'all haven't listened yet, you should check them out.

Re: Ging Nang Boyz
I haven't seen it either, I can't even find a place where I can listen to samples. I'm going to buy it eventually but I wouldn't mind a download to hold me over til then.

Re: Ging Nang Boyz
The new album's great, and apparently Mineta is keeping the GNB name and hiring new band members. Just FYI.

Re: Ging Nang Boyz
No new band members AFAIK, but GNB is apparently not dead. New live DVD/BR this month and, quietly slipped in the promo video, a notice of a new single next month. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsLNN04uMu8
