Oh man. If Rock Band Japan had Swanky Street or Kanojo Wa Kyou, I'd buy 30 copies. No lie.
Why the hell would you want to play those in guitar hero? They are awesome songs, but I don't think they would fit.

Guitar Hero, no, but Rock Band isn't really focused on guitar, it has all the instruments working in unity, including vocals. I think those two songs are masterpieces in every way.

Not me. I don't care for the game. I'd hate to pretend I can play a song on a plastic guitar when I can learn to play it fo' real...

...Even though real guitars are for old people.

I hate that I'm really bad at pretending to play a little plastic guitar when I'm alright at playing real guitars. :(

Honestly, out of all these rhythm-based games that have become so popular in recent years, I really think DDR is the only worthwhile one. Take out most of the physical elements of a rhythm game, and you have something like Guitar Hero, or even worse, Step Mania.

Though if a friend happened to have it, I'd play. But I will not buy it.

the answer: you

Rock Band isn't that great of a game anyway; you're better off practicing with real instruments.

You're forgetting how awesome Drum Mania is. If you get the home version and an electric drumset, get prepared to learn to drum for reals. :shred:

Strangely enough, this is true. Out of any video game has the potential to seriously train you (or teach you) something (aside from kids' typing/language games/Math Blaster)...Drum Mania has got to be it. Admittedly I've played very little, but it looks like you could learn some very useful drum coordination skills while you're playing. That's actually a killer idea for someone who doesnt really know if they want to get into drumming (aka: buy a kit) but still wants to try it out.

If you play it on the hard songs, you're doing full-out drumming. It's scary awesome. I can't touch that shit.
