i listened to koji nakamura's solo project nyantora and there's a lot of tabla in cosmo's wave. (tabla's and sitars sound superb in electronic fusion ^_^)

^^ soratobi is one song that just plants itself and grows into a seed, all the while sitting in your head.

Here's a band that needs more recognition. Their singles compilation "A" is a great place to start out. If you like their style also be sure to check out their "last live" recording. All of the songs, especially Free Your Soul, are way more intense live.
Oh yeah, watch Ping Pong.

good to see you converted. free your soul hooked me immediately and i completed getting their discography soon after the pillows. last live is freaking beautiful. that performance is filled with a very strong sorrow.
they have a pretty good variety in their style, and the lyrics are great. one of my favorite groups. if you want some stuff, AIM or pm me, i have all the studio work.

Anyone else check out Miki Furukawa's solo album, Mirrors?
Her work has its own little quirks, but at times, like when Koji joins in with her on "Sunburst," it's almost like Supercar never left...

I like that album. Like you said, some quirks, but I really love her voice. I absolutely hate the "coffee and singing girl!" PV though.
SUPERCAR
p.s. miki furukawa is hot, for those of you who don't know. her voice is great. really good songs for her include lucky (duet! yay!), free your soul, drive, wonderful world. good songs for the guy singer (i always forget his name ^^;;) include lucky, last scene, planet, and trip sky. Supercar is fantastic, you should get some now.

I've seen two episodes of Eureka 7, and on one of the episodes they played Storywriter.

Watchu puffin 'bout, clouds? The only thing I don't like is that there are no standout tracks. As a whole, however, I find it more listenable than many of Supercar's albums.

LIES. miki's solo work when compared to supercar, falls short.
