So I've been searching for this band on soulseek for the past month and failed miserably, and I will viciously love anyone who hooks me up with some sendspace/rapidwhatever links.

You can get Drop Your Vivid Colours, Vivid Short Trip 7 stops farther, and the sugarplastic e.p off of ruckus. It should be pretty easy to find them on slsk. You just gotta throw it on your wishlist and wait for the results to start pouring in.

I really want to hear the new album but I can't find it anywhere. If any of you guys happen to have it (Ureshii?), it would be nice to see it MegaUpload'd.

Oddly enough I didn't like that song at first but loved it once it hit me that it's like a viciously aggressive Sonic Youth song - especially at the end.

I don't like it when my ears hurt. I'll give it another shot, though.
:edit:
Nope, still sounds terrible.
I've just recently gotten into 'em, and wow... Songs like Snow Leopard and Blue Red Portrait blow me away. I swear Blue Red Portrait reminds me of those days where you get to a final level in a shmup and you're going into space and there's stuff everywhere and it's pure awesome.
All right, I'm kind of upset that I didn't take the time to download their songs earlier, but are there any other bands that have a similar sound like Luminous Orange? That crazy-ass hypnotic quality they have is really growing on me.

My Bloody Valentine. Loveless is one of the best albums ever. Luminous Orange is the only post-MBV band I've heard that does their inspiration justice.

pretty much any shoegaze sounds like that lol.
Also try Ides of Space and Supercar's older stuff.

Says someone who's listened to barely any shoegaze. Loveless is actually very different from Slowdive and most of the other better-known shoegaze groups. Most shoegaze seems to be more dreamy-sounding and slower paced than the chaotic noise conjured forth by MBV.
I really don't see any resemblance whatsoever between shoegaze and the straight-up power pop goodness of Supercar's Three Out Change, but if you, dear reader, have not yet listened to it, by all means do so.

Listen to the guitars on songs like cream soda. While the vocals aren't mixed to the point of being unrecognizable, the guitars on their old stuff definitely have that shoegaze feel to them on a lot of songs.

Asobi Seksu is a close choice. They've even played together in Japan. Their "Citrus" CD I'd recommend for a first listen.

Agh, I was trying to think of them, but couldn't, despite the fact that I was listening to them yesterday, lol. Citrus is a freaking amazing CD.
