Thrice, you don't like rap because you don't like black people.
You don't like noodles because you don't like Japanese people.
But more importantly, you don't like either of those ethnicities because they are not Swedish.

How do you decide who is and isn't talented musically? If you go solely on who can play the most notes per second, yeah, I guess they aren't that talented.
I, for one, factor in songwriting ability. Yoko has written some very cool songs, and that's worth a lot more than technical musical ability without creative skills.
I think it takes a lot more creativity to play scales and stuff rather than three chords for an entire song
If you appreciate music, then you should realize that vocals aren't necessary. And don't be al "OMGIRONY" Because I do listen to rather simple music, but it has something special. The noodles don't really have anything special about them. Everything sucks. Nobody can play worth shit.
The only reason I can imagine somebody wanting to listen to rock is that it has a different "feel" other than that of jazz or classical
Playing scales doesn't take any creativity, Steven. Neither does playing three chords; that's why we have vocals, lead parts, bass, and drums. All of those parts together, whether they are simple three chord riffs or blazing fast scales, add up to something much more.
Also, stop attacking a band you know almost nothing about. You're judging them based on one performance that might have been an off-night. Try listening to their records before making sweeping statements like, "Everything sucks. Nobody can play worth shit. noodles don't really have anything special about them."

It's not like virtuosos just play scales up and down. There's so much variety in what you can do than play a few power chords.
And overamped, don't be stupid. If you think I'm trying to impress anybody, that's bull shit. Notice the all caps. I don't know how much more plain I can get when I'm trying to be sarcastic. And oh yeah, I took intro to music theory, now I'm a badass. Too fucking bad I have yet to take any theory classes.

That wasn't as much of a jab at you as it was at people that think you're really smart for displaying basic knowledge that anyone who has spent a few weeks in a theory class would know.
It's like saying someone is really good at math when all they've shown is basic addition and subtraction.

I'm not saying the noodles suck or anything, I've heard most of their music and it's alright - but steven is kinda right. They aren't very talented. At all.

Say that once you've written songs better than theirs, or at least try to back yourself up.
Seriously people, musical talent isn't only about technical skill on an instrument. Yoko has a pretty good talent for writing catchy songs, and although she's not a super talented singer, a lot of people, including me, really like her voice.

It's not lack of technical skill, but boring power "chord" progressions and mediocre singing.

So I guess talking about Noodles is out the door by this point.

Don't talk about singing, Mr. Malmsteen Fan. Do we need to talk about "Now Your Ships Are Burned?"
Simple, or as you say "boring" chord progressions aren't really a problem here, either. I mean, Little Busters is basically C - G - F. Doesn't get much simpler than that, and the song is still hell of catchy. Complexity of chord progressions isn't always necessary to have a good song.
No more vague criticisms, bitch. If you're going to shit on a band that I like, you better get damned specific.

Dear everyone,
I'm working on the noodles site, finally. The new layout is done (it's not up at the old URL, but it's done), and I'm starting to work on the content. So far I only have the discography, so you crazy kids should give me more stuff to put up. YEAH
Sincerely, toaster
