Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Dude, I definitely agree, this song easily becomes one of my favorite AKG songs, ever Still love Last Scene the most though...xD

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
I liked it, not sure if it's like a revamp of their sound but I thought World x3 was great.(pretends they never even released surf bungaku kamakura) As long as they make albums as good as World I really don't care what they do. I think they're much too popular to completely change their sound.

Looks like it's actually shinseiki, but the original pv broadcasts accidentally put it as shinsekai.

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Holy shit World World World finally connected with me. It has some killer tracks on there and I think it flows really well. Haha, it's up there with Sol-fa for me.
I've been playing it in the car a lot recently.

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Not as good as Sol-fa, but the best of the newer albums for sure. They've been releasing the same kind of album pretty consistently lately though, and that's getting boring. At least the pillows change it up a bit each time, even if you don't like where they're going at the time.

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
I think Fanclub is their best effort in trying to sound innovative, and they did it pretty well. It may not have killer tunes, but melts nicely with their style. World World World is the usual AKFG. Not a bad album per se, but made me lose interest in their music.
killer tune
Now there's a cool song i haven't listened to in years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7kfz2w0WNoAs for AKFG, Shinsekai no Love Song was a cool single. Every time I hear the A-Side I think of Bleach.

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
I'm liking the more mellow AKFG. I hope they don't make this a permanent change, though. A mix of mellow and hard would be amazing.

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
I haven't really been listening to their albums chronologically, I just jump from album to album. This is why I'm immune to the "same sound" thing I think. Well, for the moment.
I don't look to Ajikan for much, but their energy is pretty impressive at times (though their solos have dissapointed me).

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Shinseiki and Whatever Beat were both awesome, imo. Especially Shinseiki, it was actually something DIFFERENT rather than just more and more of the standard Ajikan fare.

I think the music in Shinseiki is fine, its just the vocal melody I cannot get used to. There should be a song called Whatever Beat lol. Maigo Inu To Ame No Beat I like the chord progression and the lead guitar, but again the vocal melody is really strange to me, and the horns section sounds really bad. I can barely even hear the lead guitar in the song. And the newest PV Magic Disk vocal melody again. To me the vocals do not match to the song, and there is this really annoying delay of the vocals.
