That sad face always pops up whenever I type by habit. That and "Tbfh/tbh" (to be fucking honest/to be honest). However, I meant it like "African music too D=? I'm jealous".

You know I'm gonna be in NYC
And Cloudy...if i can get a ride, you should see me there. I wanna be there for the dixie power trio and one of my friends wanna be there for Kusum Gboo.
I like how nothing happens in Delaware but it is very close to everything.

Yay, late night ridin' on I-80 in about 18 hours to get to the save point.
My dad wanted to go up with Fred to see Deep Purple with John Kay & Steppenwolf on the 9th, I'm a little bummed we wouldn't be up there long enough for that. But hey, The Moody Blues are playing on tuesday, maybe I can convince him to stay for tuesday evening. He is a big Moody Blues fan, as well. I'd like to see it too. If we came home right after, I could get a few hours of sleep before school, it's not like I get much sleep anyways. He is going to watch GoGo with me, but I'd like for him to get to see some extra awesome before we head back home.
lmd, you still goin? Whatchoo look like?

Sorry man, I didn't go.
But I did go to the NYC show and meet up with overburn and cyclopz0rz
What was your set like in philly/bethlehem?
We got some awesome songs: Thunder Girl, Cutey Honey, Ame nochi ame nochi ame, C7, ska, punkku, every song off their new single
Peelander Z was also pretty crazy...great opening for the NYC show

They opened with Ukifune and Otona No Kusuri, then they played (can't remember order, obviously) Umashika Mono, Thunder Girl, C7, Fat na Kare, Aa Seishun, Ku no i chi, Kamisama no himatsubushi, Cutey Honey, Manatsu no Dance Hall single, and a few more. I think they played Ruriiro, Bungu, and Dotanba de Cancel, probably a bunch more I can't recall, and they closed with ska and punk. There was this one song that Turkey had some awesome vocals on, I'm not certain of the name. They played exactly to 10:45, then poof, see ya! It was a fantastic show from them, though. Turkey's Drum kit started to wobble a bit, I got some pictures of a roadie reseting and adjusting things.
I guess the "no cameras" policy didn't apply to the Volksplatz, as there were a lot of people taking shots. I got a lot of pictures; I like the way a good few of them turned out. My camera isn't exactly a champion, and I got some small flash bubbles in some shots, but I'm happy. Fred forgot his camera, so I tried pretty hard to get crowd shots, zooms, all three, akko/turkey, yuu/turkey, turkey, yuu's 4-5 photo-op guitar solos, akko's playing into the amp, turkey's vocals and drum fix roadie, and this tall, gangly, hick-hippie-type, who was a dancing machine, getting down to ska, punk, and a few of the songs before ska, taking big steps and swinging his hips, tossing his hat and trying to catch it on his head, etc, lmao.
I don't blame ya, overburn and pee-lander z are hard to beat.
Yuu said she ate some corn.
Akko said, "Next, we will play fat man song. *hands in eating motion* HAMBUGGA, HAMBUGGA, HAMBUGGA, HAMBUGGA, *stops* BREATHE... *resumes* HAMBUGGA!"
Yuu's orange sparkle Tele was gorgeous. I love orange to death, I was so happy the tour shirts were orange.
We also saw Taiko Drummers from Brown University perform. Very good show. That must take so much energy and practice to have all of those measures of music memorized. Also, the band before gogo, the Dixie Power Trio (there were four of them, wtf, moar liek Dixie Power Quattro) was pretty good, though the vocalist/horn/accordian player kinda split some eardrums with a botched horn/solo, but otherwise they were good. I really wanted to stay for The Moody Blues on Tuesday, but I had to work tuesday night.
I'll try to get all the photos up tomorrow.

Nice pic squint. I was thinking you would be at the KF show again and thats where i was.
I have some pics from KF.
for the Introductions in Newyork, Akko showed off her Russian Dolls that are painted with the members of KISS on them. And Yuu said "I will not...tell you.. my age [laughter] I Like Krispy Kreme Donuts [cheering] It is very big in Tokyo"
They started the set with Jetto Ninjin then Thundergirl i believe. last song was Ukifune before encore. C7 and Punkku encore. I dont remember their whole set list but it was a blast.
Damnnn. I wish I was at your guys' show. I looove Dontaba de Kyanseru! But Thunder Girl and Cutey Honey made me happy enough.
expect an edit for the pictures.

the ride back from the NYC show was interesting. between scranton and newark (along 280/80/380) I drove through the storm that hit nyc. there was constant cloud-to-cloud lightning. I could see it arcing right above me but the entire time I didn't hear a single rumble of thunder. the rain was on and off. at one point it was coming down like a waterfall. it was so heavy I couldn't even see the road right in front of me. the only thing I could see was a thick wall of white and faint white reflectors that lined the highway. luckily that only lasted 5 minutes. later on I drove through some hail and some high winds. when I stopped for gas in scranton there was a black out on the south-east side. I had to drive all over to find a gas station that was open and that had power. Unfortunately I didn't find one in time and I ran out of gas. so I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate read fresh and there was dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought "nah forget it", yo home to bel-air. I pulled up to my house around 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabby "yo home, smell ya later". I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there. to sit on my throne as the prince of bel-air.
