 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Holy shit, I've been waiting for this for a long time! Shinseiki no Love Song is amazing! I'm really hoping that this is them reinventing themselves, because wow, reminds me of the old AKG days. I love the catchy hooks in this song.
EDIT As for the "shitty pvs" thing I loved the video for this song, the intro was pretty great.

 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
it's cool that you liked it, i guess. but i'm not a fan of terrible acting, vague storylines, and sub-par special effects. i mean, really.. it's not 1995 anymore.

 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Well i'm not saying your opinion was wrong, the acting was bad and the effects were half ass, but I don't know, there was just something about it that I liked. Maybe because it did remind me of 1995 haha.

 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
I dig it. It's got a lot of cool, new dynamics, yet it still has that characteristic "AKG feel" to it. Also, interesting new vocal style from Gotou there in the verses (or maybe it isn't actually new—I haven't been keeping up with the latest AKG stuff). Also, I drumgasm'd. As for the PV…all I can say is that it was really, really weird.

 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
I'm right there with you Orochi, and it may be embarrasing to say, but the latest i've been keeping up with AKG was when Blue Train came out. So to go back and listen to what i've missed over the years, it's quite the change.

 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
btw, it's "shinsekai no love song," not "shinseiki," though he does use "shinseiki" in the choruses I believe.
And yeah, the PV is mostly crap, but the song is bitching good.

 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Man, the day I see this thread updated, and the PV gets deleted. I really need to hear this song. Did anyone save the video?

 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Yeah, it's definitely supposed to be "Shinsekai no love song". The title, as seen in the PV, is 新世界のラブソング: 新 = "shin" (new), 世界 = "sekai" (world). Also, just in case you don't believe me: http://romaji.org/

 Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
All I can say is.. wow. What a subtle, yet powerful song. I'm really looking forward to their new album. For a band that released three albums in 2008 alone, they sure are able to stay fresh.
