maybe to download it, I always listen in lo-fi quality and I'm not registered.
The song is ok, but the bass in the end is wrong I think, the original is so buried behind the cymbals and loud guitars that I never felt like learning it and I have a slight impression that it may be a 5 string bass.

My band's myspace. I know, we need to work out some kinks in the vocals, but other than that, is it at least decent? Keep in mind that we're just a bunch of freshmen, and this is everyone's first band. Our vocalist is having trouble because he plays bass, it's pretty hard to sing and play bass at the same time. He's pretty much our only choice, though. He's the only one in the school who's willing to play bass, and the only one who can write decent lyrics.
Listen to Peace or Canada, they're the best on there, IMO.
(That's me on guitar, BTW.)

"peace - everyone in the world, peace - every boy and girl." Oy.
I'd agree with you about the vocals needing a bit of tweaking. Also, it might be a good idea to tell your vocalist to not say "Let's go" or "go" right after he's done with every verse.
EDIT: Old Crow's the best song you have on there. If you choose to improve any one song, it should be that one.

You guys are in Omaha? Hey, maybe we can play together next year. I decided yesterday that I'm going to Creighton.

Whoah, Seriously? Cool.
Believe it or not, there's actually a huge music local music scene around here, There's lots of ska, suprisingly. What's your band's name? I'll keep on the watch if you ever get a gig or somethin' around here...(Gig wise, check out the Sokol underground or the Music Plex venues, they're great.)

I'll probably have to start a new band once I move down there. I know there's a music scene... that's part of my interest in the city.
I do plan to kick Conor Oberst in the nuts, though.

I solo on all of them, but Autumn Leaves. I just comp on that one. I think the CD turned out pretty good.
