You live in Garden Grove? I'm not really sure if I'm going yet or not (I'm such a huge procrastinator) but if I do I could probably give you a ride. Kinda takes me out of my way to do so, but I don't have any one else to go with. This area (Inland Empire...Menifee/Hemet) sucks so bad.

While I'm not SURE I was the first fan in to get a pic with Akko in America, it's easily possible, as this was hours before the concert when there was only four people there in line and half the bands hadn't even arrived yet. And since it was their first show in America, yeah, like I said, it's quite possible. Either way, I'm just excited to have gotten to go to the show, much less get a picture with Akko.

They destroyed at SXSW on Friday, and I got a few better pictures this time too. Some prep looking dudes were doing a circle pit for the entire set too... didn't quite understand it because they really didn't look like fans of Japanese music. But whatevs, you'd never get to slamdance like that to GO!GO! in Japan, America wins for once!

So I just got gogo's cover album, Tora No Ana, and I have to say, it's pretty fucking sweet. I honestly can't tell that some of the songs weren't written by them, the covers are so convincing. The best in my opinion is the cover of the Cutie Honey Theme, it's pretty awesome.
Anyone else have this?

I like pretty much every song on it. It feels like an album in it's own right. I even like the weird song that they let the drummer sing on.

Hana is probably the most stuck-up, obnoxious Japanese music fan I've ever encountered online. Her unnecessarily nasty comments seemed harsh enough... before I knew that was Mare to whom she was referring.
I should probably check out this cover album since I've heard over and over that it's great. I don't enjoy GoGo nearly as much as some of you guys, but I'm starting to get into them.

As much as I frown on self-exposure, this seems ironically appropiate:
