It's a fucking amazing performance if you can find it.

I seriously want to know what they've been up to. How can Mukai have been quiet since early this year? No singles or news or anything. Come on, guys. What's next?

Hopefully he's looking for a replacement drummer
Nah, but seriously, he's still touring for Mukai Shutoku Electric and Acoustic.
That and Zazen Boys still have tours booked pretty much every other day until New Years.

He's quite industrious. Is there an album or anything for Mukai Shutoku Acoustic & Electric? The only thing from that I've ever seen is the MukaixShiina Kimochi vid. Though I don't know if that counts.
As much as I like Vola and the Oriental Machine, I really wish Inazawa would do some drumming again for someone.

Wasn't Inazawa drumming for another band before Vola got off the ground?
Anyway, to answer your question, no I don't think Mukai's released any studio songs. I have a live video and he only plays Zazen Boys songs
I'm starting to lose interest in the band already

You mean BEYONDS? That's the only other band that I know Inazawa drums for.

He drummed for Luminous Orange a little too. But Waiting For My Food was good. Not amazing or anything. But A Communication Refusal Desire is a really good song.

I love that picture. The guy in the blue kinda looks like Yoshikane.

I knew it was only a matter of time until you posted that. I would get one too, but then I remembered that nothing good has come out of Matsuri Studio in the last 2 years

Why, because I'm not conforming and swallowing every piece of shit Mukai drops in my mouth?

Actually, "conforming" would be hating III, since it seems like everyone else but myself and Jedi do - I mean, Keikaku hated it, and they're cool, so they must be right!
Come on. I don't think it's as good as the first two, but there are some good songs on there. Most people won't give it a chance and carefully listen to the album, or else they might come to enjoy it. It's not so hard for me since I enjoy strange, offbeat stuff.
And yeah, Inazawa is the champ at drumming, but Matsushita does just fine. If had been Zazen Boy's drummer from the start, I doubt anyone would have complained.

I completely agree with you. I didn't come into listening to Zazen fellating Inazawa, and while I do believe he is a better drummer, Zazen III was actually my first exposure to Zazen Boys. And liked it. I don't consider it to be Mukai's best work, but it definitely doesn't suck in my opinion.
