New addition is a Tech21 PSA-1 pre-amp and a Leo Quan Badass II bridge on my Jazz Bass.

Man, the SansAmp pre-amp makes my 125 dollar P-Bass sound however I want it to sound.
I've taken a liking to factory setting 31 (Bassman), 32 (Jazz), and 35 (King's X).
31 has become my default setting. Makes my bass sound alot like stuff you'd get from a Musicman Stingray after taking modest use of the active controls. You can hear the strings rattling against the frets, but not enough to become an annoyance. 32 is the complete opposite. Lots of smooth low-end that leaves alot of room for the guitarist and other instruments. As a show-stealing cockbite, it's not my favorite of the factory settings, but I happily break it out because it's fucking sexy for rocksteady and reggae among other shit. 35 is my distorted bass setting. Refer to Going Steady's Sakura no Uta album and select Ging Nang Boyz songs for a perfect example of what it sounds like. I'm absolutely head over fucking heels for this damn thing.

I just got home from school and am in the process of getting everything set up to check and see if I can accurately duplicate the sound Hidekazu Hinata (Ex-Art-School, Straightener, Zazen Boys) gets with his P-Bass. Those who have heard it know exactly what the fuck is up.
